Underground Refuge

(using same characters as Glade in the Jungle, Kai's Mate & Wild Child)

(using same as before jsut certain palsmids got erased from his genes)

"Does that mean I am stronger now?"

"in dragon yes"

"But now we are no longer connected to each other. I want to be connected to you."

"my dragon traits are gone though"

"Did I hurt you that badly? I am so sorry Kai."

"thats the past"

She runs from him not in fear but in shame. She hid in one of the tunnels ashamed for what she had done. She couldn't forgive herself for hurting Kai.

*kai gave her time alone to think it over*

Later that evening she returned to Kai not saying a word. She was still sad over things. With her dragon senses hightened she listened for danger.

*kai looked to aja* "feel better now?"

"A little I think. I'm tired, I just want to go to bed." Aja lied down on the bed.

"alright" *kai goes to sleep too*

In the morning while Kai slept, Aja decided to explore the tunnel she discovered the day before. She followed it to another section of the city. This section was very seedy and rundown.

Soon Aja was discovered and captured by the splicers that lived there. These splicers were different than the others. These were more scary. It was like they had all gone mad.

Aja was chained up like an animal. The splicers could sense she was a dragon. These splicers didn't like dragons at all. They decided to keep her as a pet for now. What they would do with her later, they hadn't yet decided.

*kai ahd rushed all over town and logiclly followed the crime looking area*

One of the splicers touched Aja in an inappropriate place and she hissed at him. The splicer smacked her hard across the face. "No!" the splicer told her. She then strained on the chains. She couldn't understand why they were treating her this way.

"We will break you," the splicer told her as he hit her again.

*by thed oor kai hid and he took some of the adam the overdosed splicers go amd for and waved it infront of the doorway coulds ee it* "look what i got fellas, adam"

The splicers came towards Kai except for the one that hit Aja. He remained to protect his prize. This splicer was ready to fight to keep what was his. He had no qualms about killing.

*when they did a bear claw reached out and clawed the ones who ran's throats out and in walked kai with a bear bone in his mouth*

Aja saw Kai but couldn't speak because her jaw had begun to swell.

"She's mine. You can't have her," the splicer told Kai. He got in a fighting stance ready to protect his prize from theives.

"u know waht? take it up with my friend" *he summens the target dummy plasmid infront of him surely working since he ahs lsot his mind*

The splicer attacks the dummy. Aja cowers in the corner.

*while the splcier si distracted he sens electrocution palsmid shocking the splicer to get 3rd degree burns then freezes the splcier solid*

Aja doesn't even look at Kai. Since the plasmids are out of her system, she feels fear. She had never feared Kai until now.
