*kuk heads out to gather wood being outside whiteshell camping grounds in free land where no one owned*

Caroline and her friends enter the campgrounds. They plan to stay for the week. They pass a man on their way into the campgrounds.

*kuk kept gathering firewood jsut outside the campground borders wher eland was not owned*

After her friends set up camp, Caroline went to find the man who was gathering firewood. Soon she found him.

"Hello, I'm Caroline but everyone calls me Cara." she holds out her hand to him.

"names kuk" *he holds the bundle fo firewood with 1 arm and shakes her hand, his face had signs of stress from something*

"Is there something I can help you with? I'm a good listener."

"no i jsut need to relax"

"I can stay with you if you'd like. My friends will be fine on their own. I bet they don't even know I left."

"its something i have to deal with on my own"

"The truth is I really didn't want to come on this trip. My friends dragged me along with them. Well, at least I brought my iPod." she shows him her pink iPod.

"look this is something i ahve to deal with on my own its good that you want to help but your help wont really assist in anything" *he walks back towards a cabin*

She didn't give up. She followed him to the cabin. "Look, I'm a really good cook. I want to help you. Even if it means only fixing meals and cleaning the cabin."

*he sighs* "fine if u want to help out then start making some food ok? but stay out of the basement"

Caroline went into the cabin and began to cook for him. She seemed to know where everything was. This cabin seemed familiar to her somehow.

*he stocked the firewood then went down into the basement*

When the food was ready, she knocked on the basement door. "Food is ready Kuk."

*he came up when it was ready and locked the basement door behind him*

She served the food. She was afraid to ask him any questions because she didn't want to be sent away.

*he ate the food in thought*

"Did I pass your test?"

"what test?"

"The trust test. I knew you were trying to figure out if you could trust me or not."
