She backs away afraid.

*he steps back* "ok"

"I'm sorry." she ran out of the shack but didn't get very far.

*he felt ashamed for trying and went to his bed putting his cloak away*

Later on she returned to the shack and laid down beside him putting her arm over him like she was protecting him.

*he put an arm around her holding her gently*

When morning came she was sleeping in his arms. She awoke startled by that fact.

*kuk was still asleep and he in his sleep curled up to her*

She quickly moved away and laid down on the bottom bunk. She was afraid of the closeness that she was feeling towards him. She didn't understand.

*kuk still slept*

She just watched him sleep. She knew if she escaped, he would find her and bring her back. She found the piece of rope and tied it to her ankle.

*kuk woke* "morning"

"Morning." She tried to reach the stove but now the rope was too short to reach that far.

*kuk let her get to the stove*

"Best bring a chain home tonight." she told him as she reheated the oatmeal.

"I am your pet now. I chose you as my master the first night I became a wolf. I could have killed you that night but I didn't. I became your pet that night."

"Well, now you do. I will need the usual dog things."

"I know. But I know the ways of the wolf better than I know human ways."
